Waiting on God’s Timing: Finding Confidence in Delays

Waiting on God’s Timing: Finding Confidence in Delays
A woman enjoys a quiet moment reading at a train station, with the soft evening light reflecting on the platform, symbolizing peace and trust in the waiting season.

Waiting on God’s Timing

Waiting seasons can test our faith like nothing else. When prayers feel delayed or dreams seem stuck, our confidence can start to fade. But God uses the waiting room to strengthen us, refine us, and prepare us for what’s ahead. Confidence in waiting doesn’t mean we have all the answers—it means we trust God’s timing and remain steadfast while He works behind the scenes.

Propelling Point:

The waiting room is not wasted space—it’s training ground. Confidence grows when we realize waiting is not punishment but preparation. Every delay can be divine development. If we use the waiting season to worship, pray, and strengthen our faith, we come out ready to soar. Confidence in the waiting declares: “Even when I don’t see movement, I trust God’s plan.” That kind of trust creates an unshakable foundation that no setback can destroy.

Propel Activation:

Write a prayer of thanksgiving for your waiting season. List three ways God has already strengthened or equipped you while you’ve been waiting.

Scriptural Meditation:

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31
