The Wisdom of Godly Priorities Putting First Things First

The Wisdom of Godly Priorities Putting First Things First

Godly Priorities

Every day brings countless demands competing for our time, attention, and energy. Without intentional priorities, it is easy to become busy with many things while neglecting what matters most to God.

Jesus reminded His followers in Matthew 6:33 to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness. This does not mean that our responsibilities are unimportant; rather, it means allowing God to shape how we order them.

Godly priorities help us distinguish between what is urgent and what is truly important. When we place our relationship with God at the center, our decisions, relationships, work, and responsibilities can flow from the right foundation. Instead of allowing the demands of life to determine our priorities, we can intentionally choose what aligns with God's purposes.

Propelling Point

Godly priorities bring clarity when we place what matters to God above what simply demands our attention.

Propel Activation

Review your priorities this week. Ask yourself what receives most of your time and attention, then pray about one adjustment that would help you put God first in your daily life.
