The Shelter of His Presence Finding Safety and Rest in God

The Shelter of His Presence Finding Safety and Rest in God
Through a rain-streaked window, the soft glow of a candle and a small white bird on the sill create a peaceful reminder of the safety and stillness found in the shelter of God’s presence.

Shelter of His presence

Have you ever needed a place to retreat when life felt overwhelming? God’s presence is that shelter—a place of safety, strength, and peace.

No matter what storms surround us, God’s presence offers covering and comfort. Psalm 91:1–2 declares: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

When we draw near to Him, anxiety gives way to peace. His presence reminds us that we’re never alone, even in the hardest seasons. Resting in Him renews our strength and restores our hope.

Propelling Point:

God’s presence is our safe place—where fear fades, peace abides, and rest is restored.

Propel Activation:

Take five minutes today to sit in stillness and thank God for being your shelter. Reflect on one moment where His presence gave you peace.
