Courage of a Fresh Yes

Sometimes God calls us into something new before we feel completely ready. A fresh yes requires courage because it means trusting God's direction even when we cannot see the entire path ahead.

Throughout Scripture, God called ordinary people to take extraordinary steps of faith. When God called Abraham to leave his homeland, he went without knowing exactly where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). His obedience began with a willingness to say yes.

A fresh yes does not mean we have every detail figured out. It means we are willing to trust the One who does. God may call us to begin, serve, speak, lead, forgive, move, create, or step into an opportunity that stretches us beyond our comfort zone.

Fear often asks, “What if I fail?” Faith asks, “What if God is leading me into something greater?” When we respond to God's invitation with willingness, He can use our obedience to open doors, develop our character, and move us into seasons we could not have reached by staying comfortable.

Propelling Point

A fresh yes begins with trusting God enough to take the next step before we know the entire journey.

Propel Activation

Ask God if there is an area where He has been prompting you to move forward. Write down what you sense He is asking of you, then take one practical step of obedience this week.

Scripture Meditation

"By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going." - Hebrews 11:8
