Self-Doubt
Self-doubt can be paralyzing, but as believers, we have a source of confidence far greater than our fears. Overcoming self-doubt starts by anchoring your identity in Christ and His promises.
Many times, self-doubt creeps in when we focus on our weaknesses or past failures. But 2 Corinthians 12:9 reminds us: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When we lean on God’s strength instead of our own, our confidence grows.
Building God-based confidence means learning to recognize the lies of doubt and consciously choosing to trust God’s plan for you. It’s about affirming daily that you are God’s handiwork (Ephesians 2:10) and that He equips you for every assignment.
Remember, confidence is not the absence of doubt but the courage to move forward despite it, trusting that God goes before you.
Propelling Point:
God’s confidence empowers you to overcome self-doubt and walk boldly in your calling.
Propel Activation:
When you feel doubt rising, pause and pray this: “Lord, remind me that Your grace is enough and Your power works through my weakness.” Write it down and keep it handy.
